How it works

From first text to five-star review

What your patients experience, what lands on your team's desk, and what we do during setup.

The patient's side

  1. 1

    They text a question

About a treatment, your hours or an open time. Day or night.

  2. 2

    They get a real answer

Latchline replies from the services, hours and booking page you've given us, in a friendly tone you approve.

  3. 3

    They book

By text or on your booking page. They get a confirmation.

  4. 4

    They're reminded

Shortly before the appointment, about a day ahead.

  5. 5

    They're asked for a review

By email, about two hours after the visit, and not again for 90 days.

Your team's side

  • Handoffs, not guesses. When a question needs a person (a clinical question, a price, a complaint) Latchline stops and flags it for your team.
  • A call-back list. Booking requests that couldn't be placed automatically are listed for a quick call.
  • Owner reporting. What was answered, booked and handed off, shared with you on a schedule we agree at setup.
  • What it won't do. No medical advice. No prices by text. No prescription product names in any text.

Setup, in practice

The $500 setup covers everything below. Here's the order it happens in.

  1. Kickoff call

We collect your services, hours, booking rules and the tone you want, and set up your booking page.

  2. Carrier registration filed

We file your clinic's A2P 10DLC registration in your clinic's name. Carriers usually take 3 to 10 business days, and a registration can need more than one review. We don't control this step, so we don't promise a texting start date.

  3. Past-client list imported

So win-back campaigns have someone to invite. Opted-out contacts are excluded.

  4. Local SEO audit

A written check of how your clinic shows up in local search, with the fixes we'd make first.

  5. Texting goes live

Once the carrier registration is approved. Until then, your booking page works and we test everything on sample data.

Not built yet

We'd rather tell you now than on the call.

  • ComingTwo-way sync with your booking platform (for example Boulevard, Zenoti or Aesthetic Record). Today, bookings run through Latchline's booking page.
  • ComingAutomatic lead capture from forms you already run elsewhere. Today, contact lists are imported by file.

Who's behind Latchline
